Kindle updates!
Wooh! I finally received my kindle 2.5 update! Tested all the new features and it works great! The new features include:
- Collections - I can finally organize my books!
- PDF Pan and Zoom - it will be a lot easier to read pdfs now
- Password Protection
- More Font Sizes & Improved Clarity - it also seems to refresh pages more quickly
- Facebook & Twitter Posts -I can now share quotes from the books I'm reading
- Popular Highlights
All are cool additions to this device, making it more useful than before.
Amazon also expanded the coverage for the experimental web browser. I can now access the browser from Romania. User from lots of other countries can access it too!
Happy birthday Google Maps!
I just found out that google maps turns 5 today! It's a nice coincidence since my google maps tutorial was published today on 1stwebdesigner.com. The second part will be published this friday!
To celebrate the occasion, Keir Clarke from Google Maps Mania has created a mashup that I also contributed to. Along with lots of other developers, I've added my distance finder tool on it! Check it out!
